Today, I witnessed a worm being born out of its cocoon. It was incredible.
All this took place in the vermicompost bin that I manage at work. Over 30,000 worms work for me everyday. I guess I'm the boss, although, witnessing this miracle today shows that I am not ever in charge.....

Very cool. Love your blogspot. You've got me even more fired up for Alaska. It's coming so quickly. Brian leaves the end of the month and I will now be meeting up with him in Seattle - then we'll head to Alaska from there. We're trying out the sidecar on a few short excursions between now & then - so fun! Thanks for sharing your posts. Absolutely gorgeous.
